CHILD SAFETY STANDARDS

Last updated: March 7, 2026

At Pawpaw, the safety of all users โ€” especially children and minors โ€” is a top priority. We are committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. This page outlines our policies, practices, and procedures to protect minors.

1. Age Requirements

Pawpaw is not intended for children under the age of 13. Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent and supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and all associated data.

2. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

Pawpaw has a zero-tolerance policy for any content that sexually exploits or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Grooming or solicitation of minors
  • Sexualization of minors in any form
  • Sharing or distributing exploitative imagery or content involving minors
  • Any behavior that facilitates or encourages the exploitation of minors

Any account found to be in violation of this policy will be immediately and permanently banned, and all relevant content will be removed.

3. Content Moderation & Detection

We employ a combination of measures to detect and prevent CSAE content:

  • In-app reporting: All users can report content, messages, or profiles that they believe violate our policies, including any content involving minors.
  • Manual review: Reported content is reviewed by our team to assess violations and take appropriate action.
  • Proactive moderation: We monitor trends and patterns to identify and remove harmful content before it is reported.
  • Message monitoring: Direct messages are not end-to-end encrypted, allowing us to review reported conversations for potential abuse or exploitation.

4. Reporting to Authorities

Pawpaw complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety. When we identify or receive reports of potential CSAE content or activity, we:

  • Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via the CyberTipline, as required by law
  • Report to relevant national and regional law enforcement authorities
  • Preserve and provide evidence to law enforcement upon valid legal request
  • Cooperate fully with investigations by competent authorities

5. How to Report

If you encounter any content or behavior on Pawpaw that you believe endangers a child, please report it immediately through one of the following channels:

  • In-app: Use the report button available on any post, message, or user profile
  • Email: support@pawpawhub.app

All reports are treated with the highest priority and confidentiality.

6. User Education

We encourage all users โ€” especially parents and guardians โ€” to:

  • Monitor the online activity of minors in their care
  • Discuss internet safety with children and teenagers
  • Report any suspicious behavior or content immediately
